History of skateboard.

Skateboarding.

Development in Indonesia.

In 2002 Surf City has a high commitment to popularize this sport by organizing 3 series in 1 year. The first series of this year was held at the skatepark Kemang Jakarta on 17 March 2002 at the time Kemang Skatepark is the first permanent skate park in Jakarta. City Surf Open 1st Series Skateboard Competition competed two categories. For the first category is Street Course. This category was divided into 4 classes: Junior under 12 years old, Beginner, Intermediate and Amateur. The second category is the Bowl. For this category competed only one class, namely Bowl Open.

Bowl is a relatively new gliding courses in Indonesia and kemang skatepark was first made. Sphere-shaped bowls could really round, oval, or longer. With more creative ideas and creative crazy then hold a special championship this category are familiar with Bowl Rider.
Surf City Open 2 Competition Skateboard Series 2002 or the second series in 2002 which was held in Bandung Buqiet Skatepark on July 13, 2002. buqiet skatepark is the only indoor skatepark with a fairly complete permanent constraints.       As in previous years City Surf Open 2003 will be held in three major cities of Jakart, Bandung and Surabaya. To City Surf open 1st Series was held March 23, 2003 in Bandung Buqiet Skatepark. City Surf open 2nd Series was held June 15, 2003 at SMU 1 Surabaya. And City Surf open 3rd Series held on 21 September 2003 in Jakarta Kemang Skatepark.

      In 2004, then, City Surf Open was also held in three major cities with a series of different game formats. That Simultanous Series. That is a series that has lasted for 2003 will be continued to the series next year.
