Table Tennis game.
Table tennis, or ping pong (a trademark), is a racquet sport played by two people (for a single) or two pairs (for a double) opposite. In the People's Republic of China, the official name of this sport is the "ping pong balls" (Chinese: 乒乓球; Pinyin: Pingpang Qiu). This game uses a racket that is made of rubber-coated wooden boards commonly called a bet, a ping-pong ball and field game in the form of a table. History of Table Tennis World.

Some Asian countries then feel less satisfied with TTFA, because apparently not gather all the strength in Asia, as referred to in the articles of association of TTFA.

In March 1972, representatives of the Chinese table tennis association, DPR Korea, and Japan met specifically to take the initiative held a preliminary meeting in Beijing, China. In May of that year and the preliminary meeting was attended by delegates from 16 countries respectively: Camboja, China, DPR Korea, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malasyia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Vietnam. In line with the fierce desire of the delegation, the preliminary meeting in changing the status of a meeting of the opening to form the Asian Table Tennis Union (Attu) on May 7, 1972. The meeting received a communiqué and the articles of association as well as select committee Attu.

Asian Championships to the future maintenance of Attu to I and I to Attu congress held in Beijing in September 1972. Six congress Attu and Asian championships have been held successfully in:

1. Beijing
2. Yokohama
3. Pyong-Yang
4. Kuala Lumpur
5. Calcutta
6. Jakarta, from 1972 to 1982.

The objective is the establishment of Attu :

1) To strengthen the friendship between a table tennis player and the people of the countries and regions in Asia and to deepen the friendly relations between the community and the table tennis with their Asian players from other continents.

2) To enhance the popularity, development and achievements of table tennis in Asia. The basic principle is: equality and mutual respect among fellow union members, large and small, as well as democratic consultation.

To 1982 Attu have earned 32 full members from Asia with two members of the association of Oceania. Secretariat of Attu in place in Beijing where Attu domicile secretary general bulletin in English which has been published since 1979.

Attu received official recognition as the only container continental governing mejaan players in Asia, of the ITTF in 1975 coincided with the implementation of general meeting of the ITTF to 33 in Calcutta.
